Due to the heavy rain, followed by drought, our crops failed this season. To provide two meals a day for our 600-plus students, teachers, and staff, we need to assist in purchasing beans and maize—a monthly expense of $2,500—until our next harvest in July 2027.
Additionally, rising fuel prices add an extra $300 burden to our weekly budget. We need to keep our five buses running!
