I am praying that when we end our second term December 7th, 2018, the children will be eating their celebration last day of semester treats in the NEW dining room, with the NEW kitchen preparing the home grown food!

Painting is finished and crops are growing!
Buying cement to finish the floors inside the school and plaster the outside.
The wheel on the school bus needs to be replaced our trusty Chungu informs Emmanuel.
The roof is ON!

Neema, our pre school teacher wrote this to me: “Do you remember that baby girl? She was the one who cried most of the time, and I carried her while I taught. Now I am proud of her. She is very bright!” She is the girl in this fist video. What a difference 3 months has made!
Up to date list of itemized costs
Emmanuel sends me itemized bookkeeping all done on paper. I put the expenses on a spread sheet. My son, Erik, helped me organize it. This list includes everything from the start of the project in Sept. 2017 to this April 2018. This includes a school building with 4 large 24 x 24 feet rooms fully finished inside and outside, a washroom for girls and boys, a water tower, a cistern, trees and shrubs planted, a play set, desks, school bus, legal paperwork to government, paying the teachers, buying books and supplies, food for children and teachers.
