Snowdrop (Galanthus)

Height: Snowdrops typically grow to be 3 to 6 inches (7–15 cm) tall, with slender green stems and nodding white flowers.

Sunlight: They thrive in partial shade to full sun—ideal under deciduous trees, where they get winter and early spring light before the leaves come in.

Bloom Time: Snowdrops are among the earliest spring bloomers, often flowering in late winter to early spring—sometimes even pushing up through snow (hence the name!).
